When should you order?
Two to three weeks before Diwali. Courier networks across India slow measurably in the fortnight before the festival, and hand-poured candles cannot be produced instantly — ours cure for ten days before they ship.
From our workshop in Ludhiana, Delhi NCR receives in 4–5 days, Maharashtra in 6–8, and Tamil Nadu, Kerala and the North-East in 7–10. Work backwards from that.
Which scents suit Diwali?
Warm and resinous rather than fresh. Sandalwood, saffron, amber and cardamom sit naturally alongside diyas, marigold and incense. Sea salt and citrus fight with it.
