The pleated modak form, which is far harder to mould cleanly than the laddu — the ridges have to hold through cooling or the whole piece is scrapped. Made for Ganesh Chaturthi and bought heavily around it.

Burn & care
Trim the wick to 5 mm before every burn. This is the single thing that most affects how your candle performs — an untrimmed wick smokes, mushrooms and burns through wax far faster.
First burn: let it run 2–3 hours until the melt pool reaches the edge. Soy wax has a memory; if the first burn tunnels, every burn after it will tunnel.
In Indian summers: keep candles out of direct sunlight and away from a hot windowsill. Soy softens above roughly 35°C. If a piece softens in transit it re-firms in a cool room within a couple of hours.
Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from curtains, children and pets.

Yes — each dessert candle is scented to match, using IFRA-certified fragrance oils at an 8–10% load, so the scent is noticeable without being cloying in a small room.
